How it all started
 |
Mitchel Garfinkle founded Mitchel Lincoln Paper in 1965. “Mitch”, as everyone called him, led the company for four decades with a hands-on approach and an open-door philosophy. If you wanted to see him, chances were you would find him improving things in the factory, listening to customers, or talking with the drivers – always out there and involved rather than behind an office desk. The family business has grown over time, yet we maintain the same traditions and values that Mitch did. All family members are still very much involved in the company’s operations. Jimmy Garfinkle, who took over the company’s leadership after his father’s passing, says, “calling us and talking to us remains as easy as ever. We are ready and we’re looking forward to talking to you soon!”
Mitchel-Lincoln is Quebec’s most productive manufacturer of corrugated packaging – boxes, displays and sheets. Located in Ville St-Laurent and Drummondville, our combined 750,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehousing facilities are ready to produce your smallest jobs, and your largest ones. Our qualified sales staff is prepared to advise you and get you the exact size and quantity you need.

This new box manufacturing plant is located in the industrial park of Drummondville and was renamed accordingly: Mitchel-Lincoln Packaging Ltd. – Drummondville. This facility serves the Eastern Townships, Quebec City, Quebec’s North Shore and South Shore, as well as Northern New England and Upstate New York. |
| 2005 |
Mitchel-Lincoln along with its partner, Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd. builds its own recycled paper mill in Scarborough, Ontario. New Forest Paper Mill opens its facilities in May 2006 and produces top quality linerboard and medium. |
